Information about cookies

Due to the enforcement of the modification to the “Law on Information Society Services” (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is necessary to obtain the express consent of the user for the use of non-essential cookies before they browse our web pages.

What are cookies?

Cookies and other similar technologies, such as local shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.

Cookies affected by regulations and exempted cookies

According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed consent from the user are analytical cookies, advertising and affiliation cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services explicitly requested by the user are exempt.

What types of cookies exist?

  1. Analytical cookies: These collect information about the use of the website.
  2. Social cookies: These are necessary for sharing content on external social networks.
  3. Affiliate cookies: These allow tracking visits from other websites with which the website has an affiliate agreement (affiliate companies).
  4. Advertising and behavioral cookies: These collect information about the user’s preferences and personal choices (retargeting).
  5. Technical and functional cookies: These are strictly necessary for the use of the website and the provision of the contracted service.

Revoking consent to install cookies and how to delete cookies from your browser

Here, we explain how to revoke consent to install cookies and how to delete them in the most common browsers:

Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the Tools icon.
  2. Select “Settings”.
  3. Click on “Advanced Settings”.
  4. In the “Privacy and Security” section, click on “Content Settings”.
  5. To delete cookies, click on “All Cookies and Site Data”.
  6. To clear the cache, click on “Clear Browsing Data”.
  7. Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer (version 11):

  1. Click on “Tools” and select “Internet Options”.
  2. Click on the “General” tab.
  3. In the “Browsing History” section, click on “Delete”.
  4. Select “Delete Files” and “Delete Cookies”.
  5. Click on “Delete”.
  6. Close and restart the browser.

Mozilla Firefox (version 18):

  1. Click on “Firefox” and select “History”.
  2. Click on “Clear Recent History”.
  3. Check the boxes for “Cookies” and “Cache”.
  4. Select “Everything” from the drop-down menu for “Time Range to Clear”.
  5. Click on “Clear Now”.
  6. Close and restart the browser.

Safari (version 5.1):

  1. Click on the Safari icon and select “Reset Safari”.
  2. Check the boxes for “Clear History” and “Remove all website data”.
  3. Click on “Reset”.
  4. Close and restart the browser.

Opera:

  1. Click on “Settings” and select “Advanced”.
  2. In the “Cookies” section, choose the options for accepting or rejecting cookies.
  3. Close and restart the browser.
